GridVerse is a big, slow and unforgiving space game. You fly your own ship across a grid of 4097 × 4097 cells, trade, mine, build an alliance and venture into dangerous open space, all with a few chat commands.

Type !d go 120,-340 and your ship departs. Travel takes real time: crossing the map from one side to the other takes about a week. Your ship keeps flying while you are away.
Land on planets to mine, dock at starbases, trade outposts and merchant stations to trade, and activate your ship in a gas cloud to collect gas and isotopes.
Prices follow supply and demand. When resources are scarce, ships get more expensive. Mines refill slowly, so nobody can drain a deposit forever.
From the first shuttle and nimble scouts to titans that dominate an entire sector. Ships are not built but bought at a stardock, and your old ship is traded in. Used ships can be found at merchants.
Attack a player in the same cell with !d attack. Shields go down first, then the hull. A small ship against a big one takes minutes, capital ships against each other an hour. Planets and stations are always safe.
Found an alliance with a founder and two managers. Members are friends, and the alliance decides who is an ally, neutral or an enemy. Interdictors pull enemies out of their flight.
!d register in a channel the bot can read. You start docked at a starbase with your own shuttle and 500 credits.!d help for all commands, !d nearest planet for the nearest planet and !d go x,y to depart.
